USB over Network 6.2.5 for macOS

USB over Network 6.2.5 has been released for macOS. Redirection of YubiKey devices from macOS to Linux has been improved.

USB over Network 6.2 Beta

USB over Network 6.2 Beta is now publicly available. Caching of audio device data has been optimized for smooth playback over poor network connections. FIDO2 authenticators support has been added. Changes in command line interface, a lot of bug fixes and improvements have been made.

Yet another Update for Mac

Another update of USB over Network, Webcam for Remote Desktop, Scanner for Remote Desktop and Sound for Remote Desktop has been released for macOS.

Support for the latest versions of FreeRDP 3 and for the upcoming macOS Sequoia have been added to all products.

USB over Network 6.2 has been released for Linux.

Many changes and improvements have been made to the core components, providing better support for the latest kernel versions and improving performance. The feature of per-interface redirection for composite devices has been added. The operation of multimedia and mass storage devices has been optimized.

macOS Products Update

New versions of USB over Network, Webcam for Remote Desktop, Scanner for Remote Desktop and Sound for Remote Desktop are available for macOS!

Latest macOS Sonoma is now supported by all products. USB over Network GUI now allows to connect and manage some remote devices, shared on another computers (so-called Servers). Sound quality was improved in the Sound for Remote Desktop. Other minor changes and optimizations were made in all products.

USB over Network 6.2 for macOS

USB over Network 6.2 has been released for macOS.

The main feature added in this version is a graphical user interface, which will make program usage a lot easier for new users. Of course, under the hood, it has the same powerful core, compatible with our products for Windows and Linux and driven by the flexible system of Sharing Rules.

New Versions of Our Products for macOS

New versions of USB over Network, Webcam for Remote Desktop and Scanner for Remote Desktop are available for macOS!

Latest macOS Ventura is now supported by all three products. Video quality was improved in the Webcam for Remote Desktop. Scanner for Remote desktop now supports duplex scanning, JPEG and LZW compression. And some minor bugfixes were made in USB over Network.

USB over Network for macOS

USB over Network 6.0 has been released for macOS for the first time. This initial release implements support of the Server part of USB over Network program. All USB devices shared on your Mac can be connected to the Windows and Linux powered Clients. Moreover, macOS version of USB over Network is compatible with USB for Remote Desktop protocol. Thus, all your devices become accessible in remote desktop sessions with USB for Remote Desktop Server installed.

USB over Network 6.0.6

USB over Network 6.0.6 has been released. Stability of command-line utility has been improved. Issue with driver signature and some other minor bugs have been fixed.

USB over Network 6.0.4

USB over Network has been updated to version 6.0.4! A new major feature has been added: Device Tags. It allows to organize large pool of similar devices in groups and enable notification or auto connect when any of these devices becomes available. Port names and drive letters are now showing on Client side. Also, a lot of small fixes for device compatibility has been made.

New Version of USB over Network Linux Client

New version of USB over Network Linux Client is available. System of rules that determine daemon behaviour and device connection has been improved.

Also, FtPlugins (modules for connecting FabulaTech linux products to remote desktop clients) have been updated for all our linux products. Compatibility with new Teradici PCoIP client has been improved.

USB over Network Update

USB over Network has been updated to version 6.0.1.

This release fixes bugs with SSL trusted authority certificate, callback reconnection, connection to License Server and some devices.

USB over Network 6

We proudly introduce you the major update of our flagship product! USB over Network 6 available for Windows and Linux.

Windows version comes with a tons of new features such as easy understandable symlinks for Clients, Servers and devices, autoconnect of all devices on callback connection, ability to continue local usage of the device which was shared but not yet connected by Client, and to disconnect a device from Client without unsharing. New FabulaTech Virtual USB Host Controller driver brings full support for USB 3.0 and great performance improvement under the latest Windows OS. Also, UI was enhanced and polished, performance and quality tweaks are added for HID devices, fine-tuning of interval for broken connection detection is added. A lot of bugs fixed as well.

Linux version comes with improved performance and stability for a high-speed USB 3.0 devices thanks to a multi-core support on the Server side, automatic creation of sharing rules and ability to create callback connection to Clients. The Client side obtains improved UI, enhanced device connecting rules, support for callback connections, SSL and external command execution on device connect/disconnect.

New linux versions of USB over Network and USB for Remote Desktop have been released. Support for Ubuntu 18.04 has been added in both products. Support for some specific devices has been improved as well.

USB over Network for Linux 5.2.14

USB over Network for Linux 5.2.14 has been released. Graphical user interface and compatibility with latest OpenSSL versions have been added. Command-line utility has been improved as well. Issue with Site Licensing has been fixed.

USB over Network 5.2 for Windows and Linux has been released with a lot of new features and changes!

New features have been added: the possibility to use SSL in callback connections, devices can be connected by its VID/PID using the command-line utility. Sharing Rule Manager has been improved also: now it is possible to assign a nickname to a device and change its serial number.

Overall stability and performance have been improved for high load situations with extremely large number of Servers or Clients or devices. Compatibility with some USB devices has been enhanced as well.
